Lunch stop on the way to malaysia

Ahhhh its that time of year again as my family makes the road trip to sasaran in kuala selangor, my fathers hometown. This year, the entire family is coming back and there is estimated around 60 people. Its going to be a blast and there is going to be so much food that when i get back to Singapore, im going to need to work out little…

We ate one of my favorite malaysian food at this random coffee shop in yong bing and we had some meat filled fishballs and a large plate of fried rice to go with it…

The hokkien mee was not the best i have tasted but since i was so hungry, i ate as much as possible… It was rather salty ( as all malaysian food is ) but there was very little vegetables… Mostly noodles… The fishball soup was the best dish on the table in my opinion as the soup was full of flavour despite the oil on top… When bitten, the fishball oozed out with soup and had a very tasty meaty center… Overall a very nice dish.. However, the fried rice was a disappointment, it was wet with oil and it was not appetizing at all.

An average place for my first meal but i am not discouraged .. Tonights dinner and tomorrows food will be 50 times better… ( i hope) stay tuned…
